Time To Pray

 

Too often we are guilty of thinking or saying "all I can do now is pray", as if it is the least and last option available. However, this should not be our thinking as a Christian. Prayer is not a last resort. Prayer is a privilege and a right we now have to go to our Father on our own behalf (and others). There is no longer a need for someone else to do this for you. Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice, so that we could freely go before God ourselves. Let's not take this for granted. Jesus prayed, the disciples prayed, the saints of old prayed, and so should we! Prayer is the BEGINNING for great things to occur: miracles, signs, wonders, healing, deliverance, direction, peace of God, etc. It's time to get things back in order. Shall we pray?


Words To Stand On...

Jude 1: 20-21
²⁰ But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
²¹ Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.


Philippians 4:6-7
⁶ Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
⁷ And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.


2 Chronicles 7:14
¹⁴ If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.



Walk It Out…
Stop and take a moment to meditate on this devotional and more importantly the mighty Word of God. How does this apply to you on today? What are you currently believing God for in your life? What do you need to let go of or stop doing immediately? What do you need to begin doing? Pray and listen. Now step out in faith and go forth in Jesus name!
