Relationship is Key!

Drama, drama, drama. Avoid allowing division and disharmony to come into your relationship with others. The enemy LOVES to cause trouble by taking little things and blowing them up to appear bigger and badder than they really were in the beginning. If you have ought with a brother or a sister go to them and try to work it out privately. If you have sinned and fallen short in an area go get right with God, repent, and turn from your wicked ways. If you have hurt someone else let go of pride and say you are sorry, and willingly accept the consequences of your actions without murmuring, complaining, or fault finding. James 5:16 (KJV) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Finally, be willing to forgive one another. Don't allow pride to keep you from resolving an issue while there is still opportunity to do so. The enemy is so quick to amplify our perceived weaknesses of others or keep us dwelling on their many "injustices" towards us, but we must be wise to his tactics. Matthew 6:14-15 (KJV) 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. A house divided can not stand, neither can a friendship, marriage, church, or any other relationship. Fight for unity. Fight for harmony. Fight for love. Fight for peace. The enemy is not going to just quit, neither should you!!! James 4:7 (KJV) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Every day another friendship is lost, another marriage vow is broken (until death we do part is so quickly forgotten), another church splits or members walk away (while God's work is set aside and personal ministries are destroyed), and on and on I could go. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Avoid allowing division and disharmony to come into your relationship with others. Put the enemy on notice today that he must vacate the premises IMMEDIATELY. Take back what belongs to you!!
