What's worst than the Zombie apocalypse?

Although mere entertainment to some there are others who truly fear a Zombie apocalypse and even prepare to survive the imagined threat, but here is something true and more fearful to imagine for those who refuse to obey God...

Revelation 9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

An article I read today on bible.org states "Men and women alike will try to die, but will not be able to. Like Job, they will “long for death…. And dig for it more than for hidden treasures” (Job 3:21). But it will elude them. They will cripple and injure themselves but somehow will be unable to finish the job."
