Seeking Security? Find It Here...

Security is defined in Webster as freedom from danger, safety, freedom from fear or anxiety, and freedom from want or deprivation.  In the Word of God, we find many promises from God to fulfill all of these needs in our lives and more!

In his arms, we can feel protected and sure knowing that He will take care of us, for He has already given us the greatest gift; freedom from sin by His ultimate sacrifice of dying on the cross.  In Psalms 91:1 it is declared "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. "  What a wonderful revelation it is to find that all we need is available through God, and can be obtained, according to His will and purpose, by simply asking in faith.

It is also declared that God is a refuge and fortress, a deliverer, a cover, and a shield and buckler for the just man. In Him we can find peace, provision, prosperity, and protection.  Praise God for being our shelter in the storm and our strength from day to day for He is truly worthy to be praised!

For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.


Walk It Out...

Stop and take a moment to meditate on this devotional and more importantly the mighty Word of God. How does this apply to you on today? What are you currently believing God for in your life? What do you need to let go of or stop doing immediately? What do you need to begin doing? Pray and listen. Now step out in faith and go forth in Jesus name!
