The Alarm Is Sounding. Do You Hear?

It's way past time to wake up! Years ago, I had a dream about a church. The service was going on as usual, and at first glance everything appeared okay. However, upon looking closer I could see that some people had actually fallen asleep (all over the church), and as I continued to watch people slowly began to disappear. No, this had nothing to do with the rapture, but instead the state of some churches.

People are backsliding sitting right in the house of God, and it's not just the saints. Singers, musicians, prayer warriors, ushers, deacons, missionaries, and yes even preachers are allowing the enemy to creep in and steal them away. 2 Timothy 3:5 says "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away". Turn away from those people and things that draw you away into sin, and return to God, your first love.

True repentance, praise, a heart of worship, and obedience can restore that which was lost if we hold fast to truth and that which yet remains. People are falling asleep in the church, and it's way past time to wake up. Sound the alarm. Wake up! Wake Up!! WAKE UP!!!

Words To Stand On...

2 Timothy 3 :1-5

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Revelation 2:4-5

4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Revelation 3:1-3

1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
