Called to be a Soldier

The Lord is calling for a prepared people to rise up and do a great work for Him in these last and evil days. There is a great need in our society for the people of God, the salt of the earth, to share the good news that there is a savior who loves us and desires for us to come unto Him to find peace and rest.

As we look around us we see signs that the end is nearer then when we first believed. We hear of earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, plane crashes, and all kinds of natural disasters occurring all around us at an ever increasing rate, but we, the children of God, are admonished to not worry or fret when we see these things occur, because they must, as we await that great day when our heavenly Father will come again to usher us home.

While there is yet time we must be about our Father's business, working while it is yet day, to bring others into the knowledge of Christ. We must take our position as a soldier in the army of the Lord. Oh, what a blessed calling and privilege it is to be called for this great work.

As a soldier, we must first know the commander in chief, our lord and savior, Jesus Christ, and must strive daily to build a stronger relationship with him. Then, we must know our place of assignment, and remain there steadfast and unmovable until we receive our marching orders. We must prepare ourselves to go out by enduring the many trials and tribulations that will come to us all, to strengthen and train us to prepare us for this great battle for souls. We must be in position, and ready to move, when the command is given without hesitation or doubt, and in order to do this we must know the voice of God.

Therefore, let us each put on the whole armor of God through prayer, fasting, and bible study, and join in with all our strength and might to do a great work for our God. Let us not faint or be weary as we look around us and see how man has tried to remove God from our schools, our communities, and ultimately our homes (if we were to allow it to be so).

What a joy it is to know this battle is already won. The victory is ours saints, so lets join together as one, in the beauty of holiness, and rise up and go forth as a mighty soldier in the army of the Lord and reclaim those souls that the enemy has attempted to kill, steal, and destroy!

The call has gone out, rise up soldiers, rise up, and go forth!

Words To Stand On...

Ephesians 6:11
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

2 Timothy 2:3-4
3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Psalm 56:9-11
9 When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
10  In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.
11 In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
